Why "Redshift"?

In astrophysics, redshift is what happens when light stretches toward red as something accelerates away — the signature of motion across enormous distances. It is how we measure a universe that never stops expanding.

We picked the name because that is how we see technology: always moving, always accelerating. Our job is to keep your business at the front of that motion — fast, secure, and ready for whatever comes next — instead of being left behind by it.

Redshift MSP, LLC was founded in 2022 to give growing organizations the kind of proactive, senior-level IT support that used to be reserved for large enterprises. Founder Don Hartle spent more than a decade in IT support and administration before starting Redshift, and built it to close a gap he kept running into: growing companies forced to choose between break-fix shops that only react once something breaks and enterprise providers they cannot justify. Redshift is the alternative.

Redshift MSP also works hand in hand with Major IT, an established Orange County managed services provider Don partners with closely.
